"Nine kids. They have nine kids." Stephen looked far too amused by this revelation.

"I know," Jon said, rolling his eyes. "Brian told me they just adopted another one. She's a very quiet, troubled sub, I guess—really needed a good home."

Stephen sank down on Jon's couch, pouting. "It's no fun to share gossip with you when you already know about it."

"You’re aware your pout has no affect on me, right? Save it for Evie."

"It doesn't work on her either. And Allison completely ignores it."

Jon smirked. "Why am I not surprised you've tried?"

Stephen ignored that. "So are they really moving to San Francisco?"

"Apparently, yes. After these contracts are up," Jon said.

"Huh. What are they going to do?"

"I've got no idea. Start a prostitution ring? How should I know?"

"You apparently know all," Stephen said. "And I can see that. Really kinky shit, too, like non-dynamic sex—no restraints, orders, anything." Stephen paused before adding, "There's an Eliot Spitzer joke in there somewhere, I can feel it."

Jon quirked his mouth. "Do you really want to feel it? I mean, it was your show that got him all hot and bothered, remember. I'm surprised he didn't corner you in the green room."

Stephen shuddered. "Good thing he didn't. There wouldn’t be anything left of him to make jokes about."

"How's that?"

"...would you want to take on Evie and Allison? There's a reason Jane doesn't come anywhere near me anymore."

Jon winced, unconsciously fingering the white-gold torque around his neck. He bet even Brian would be a little concerned about facing those two. "Good point."

"How did I become the topic of this conversation, anyway? I want to go back to discussing the brothel that Keith and Rachel are going to open once they get to San Francisco."

"You realize there is something seriously wrong with you, right?"

"Of course."

"Good. Just checking."
