"He tried," Allison told Stephen, sighing as she sat down in the chair across from his desk. "He really did. But he's not comfortable with me domming you too, even in a work-related way."
Stephen pursed his lips and nodded. "I guess I can't blame him," he admitted. "So we'll just have to stop. There was a time when you didn't dom me, right? We'll go back to that."
Allison met his eyes. "Do you really think that's going to work, Stephen?"
He didn't answer, glancing down. Her letter giving two weeks’ notice was on his desk the next day.
