‘Stubborn’ was a good way to describe Jon Stewart, especially when it came to opening up. That was okay, though. Brian was patient.
He coaxed Jon out of his shell with ease, offered him his trust and consideration and eventually earned Jon’s in returned. He used his words to sooth, to analyze, to help, and his hands to relax, to soften, touching Jon carefully, drawing whatever chaos he could from him.
Jon was so tightly wrapped, Brian knew, but he carefully unraveled the neuroses, kissing him softly, patiently breaking down his barriers, and proved himself worthy. Now it was almost a given.
