The day Jon brought Sammy home was an interesting one. The cat walked right up to Stephen, sniffed his leg, and gave him a baleful look. Then he headed back to Jon, rubbing against his leg and purring loudly. Stephen pouted. Jon smiled to himself.
When, later that night, Stephen stalked into their bedroom, he stopped suddenly, eyes narrowing at the sight of Sammy curled up against Jon. Wordlessly, he picked the cat up, set him on the floor—ignoring his indignant meows—and then settled into bed.
Jon smirked. Leave it to Stephen to get jealous of a cat.
