“What are you reading?” Munch asked, attempting to grab the book from his partner’s hand. Fin moved it out of his way too quickly, though, and he ended up grabbing a fist full of air. He raised an eyebrow as he sat down next to Fin on his couch.

“Nothing,” Fin replied, keeping the book out of reach of Munch’s grasp.

“Then why won’t you let me see it?”

“Because I don’t want to hear your smart ass comments.”

“I won’t say anything, I promise.”

Fin rolled his eyes. “Fine, but I’m gonna hold you to that promise.” He handed over the book.

Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban?” Munch laughed. “Why Fin, I was unaware you had such a penchant for children’s fantasy books.”

“You broke your promise,” Fin replied, snatching the book back.

“I had my fingers crossed.” Munch smirked. “What are you going to do about it?”

“I should kick your ass, but I want to finish this chapter.”

“But I’m bored, Fin.”

“Tough.”

“Is the book really that good?” Munch asked, raising an eyebrow dubiously.

“If it wasn’t a good book, why would I waste my time reading it? Besides, there’s a character that reminds me of you—annoying smart ass, pencil thin, wears all black, and cynical as all hell.”

“Who is it?”

“The character’s name is Snape.”

Munch thought it over for a few seconds. “I like it.” He paused. “How good is that book, again?”

“Really good.”

“Good enough that you’d forego an evening of sex to finish reading the chapter?”

Fin paused, and looked up. Munch was giving him a very purposeful look. He smirked. “Let me mark my page.”

Munch looked triumphant. “That’s what I thought.”
